First, preheat your oven to 200 degrees (top/bottom heat) so it is nice and warm for our crumble.
Wash the strawberries, remove the green stems, and cut the fruits into bite-sized pieces. Place them directly into a small, ovenproof dish.
For the streusel, mix the flour, butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Knead everything with your fingers until a nice, crumbly dough forms.
Distribute the streusel evenly over the strawberries in the dish.
