

Vegan Waffles – Simple, Quick & Crispy

The waffles are golden brown, crispy outside, and soft inside. Best served with fresh berries or maple syrup. It's so easy: mix, bake, and enjoy!

First, mix the spelt flour (125 g) and baking powder (1 tsp) well in a bowl to avoid lumps – this is the secret to a fluffy batter!
Now gradually add the plant-based drink (150 ml) while stirring constantly until a smooth batter forms.
Gently melt the coconut oil (20 g) and stir it into the batter along with the maple syrup (1 tbsp) and vanilla extract (1 pinch).
Preheat the waffle iron well and, if necessary, lightly brush it with some additional oil.
Pour portions of the batter into the waffle iron and bake until golden brown, fragrant, and crispy.
