Ingredients
Preparation
Wash the chicory (2) thoroughly under cold water and remove the hard stalk at the bottom, as it often tastes particularly bitter – even a cat like me doesn't want that!
Now cut the chicory (2) into fine strips or bite-sized pieces and place them in a beautiful salad bowl.
Wash the apple (1) thoroughly, remove the core, and cut it into thin, appetizing slices, which you then add directly to the chicory (2).
For the dressing, mix the olive oil (2 tbsp) with the apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp) and the honey (1 tsp), as well as a pinch of salt (1 pinch), in a small cup until you have a smooth emulsion.
You can roughly break the walnut kernels (20 g) with your hands so that they provide a wonderful crunch when eaten.
Pour the dressing over the salad and sprinkle the walnut kernels (20 g) on top as a final touch before gently mixing everything together – enjoy your meal!
