Tequila Sunrise with Intense Grenadine Gradient - Simple & Classic

recipe.header.titleBig

The Tequila Sunrise is a true classic, reminiscent of a dreamlike sunrise with its fascinating color gradient. As a little cat with a penchant for fine drinks, I love mixing this colorful cocktail at home. The combination of fruity orange juice, spicy tequila, and the sweet depth of homemade grenadine makes for a harmonious refreshment that makes every moment special. What's especially important to me with this drink is avoiding artificial additives and using high-quality ingredients instead. Achieving that intense grenadine gradient is easy if you follow a few small tricks, which I will explain step-by-step here. This drink is not just a visual highlight at any party, but also a wonderful way to treat yourself to a little break in everyday life. You will see: A self-mixed Tequila Sunrise tastes incomparably better than any pre-mixed version. Grab your glasses, let's conjure up the perfect drink together, and enjoy this fruity delight that will instantly put you in a vacation mood. It's really simple to master this professional drink without any bar equipment!

Ingredients

Ice cubes
6
Tequila Blanco
50  ml
Freshly squeezed orange juice
150  ml
Homemade grenadine syrup
20  ml
Orange slice
1

Preparation

1

Fill a tall glass with ice cubes (6) to chill the drink perfectly.

2

Pour the Tequila Blanco (50 ml) over the ice into the glass.

3

Carefully fill the glass with the freshly squeezed orange juice (150 ml), but do not stir the drink yet so we can see the great gradient later.

4

Now, pour the homemade grenadine syrup (20 ml) very slowly directly into the center of the glass so it settles gently at the bottom and forms a beautiful gradient.

5

Garnish your finished cocktail with the orange slice (1) and serve immediately while it looks its best. Meow, enjoy!
