Refreshing Tom Collins - Classic, Sparkling & Quickly Made

A homemade Tom Collins is the epitome of a timeless long drink that provides the perfect refreshment on hot days. As a home cook with a flair for fine flavors, I especially love this drink because it is wonderfully uncomplicated and requires no artificial ready-made products. The combination of tangy gin, fresh lemon, and the delicate sweetness of homemade sugar syrup, rounded off with ice-cold soda water, makes it a real moment of enjoyment. Originally from the 19th-century bar culture, this drink brings an elegant touch to your everyday life. It's child's play to mix this classic in your own kitchen. All you need are fresh, high-quality ingredients. If you squeeze the lemon juice fresh, the aroma unfolds much better than with store-bought juices – meow, you can really taste the difference! Follow my simple instructions and prepare this sparkling companion in no time at all. Grab a highball glass, some ice, and let yourself be enchanted by its zesty lightness.
