White Mulled Wine with Orange and Cardamom - Homemade & Aromatic

recipe.header.titleBig

A homemade white mulled wine with orange and cardamom is the perfect choice for cozying up on cold winter evenings. As a little cat who loves experimenting in the kitchen, I adore this bright, fruity alternative to classic red mulled wine. The subtle acidity of the orange harmonizes wonderfully with the exotic, slightly floral aroma of the cardamom pods. Since I value pure indulgence, we only use high-quality, fresh ingredients without artificial additives or pre-made mixes. Preparation is effortless and takes just a few minutes – ideal if you want to treat yourself to a little time out. The scent of warm spices spreads through the whole kitchen and instantly creates cozy warmth. Grab your favorite mug, curl up in a cozy corner, and enjoy this aromatic winter magic. It is so easy to prepare this luxury fresh yourself instead of relying on bottled products. Have fun making it!

Ingredients

White wine
250  ml
Orange
0.5
Cardamom pods
3
Honey
1  tbsp
Cinnamon stick
1

Preparation

1

Wash the orange (0.5) thoroughly and cut it into thin slices, leaving the peel on for extra aroma.

2

Pour the white wine (250 ml) into a small saucepan and heat gently over medium heat, but do not let it boil so that the fine bouquet is preserved.

3

Briefly press the cardamom pods (3) with the back of a knife so they can unfold their wonderful aroma better.

4

Now add the orange slices (0.5), the crushed cardamom pods (3), the honey (1 tbsp), and the cinnamon stick (1) to the warm wine.

5

Let it steep for about 10 minutes – during this time, I slip into my basket for a quick purr.

6

Finally, pour the finished mulled wine through a fine sieve into a mug and enjoy it warm.
