First, peel the floury potatoes (400 g) and cut them into small, even cubes so they cook faster – that saves time for the paw!
Clean the carrot (1) and the celery stalk (1), slice both finely, and finely dice the onion (1).
Heat the butter (20 g) in a pot and gently sauté the vegetables until they smell wonderful.
Add the potatoes (400 g) and deglaze everything with the vegetable broth (500 ml). Sprinkle the dried marjoram (1 tsp) over it and let everything simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
Meanwhile, slice the Wiener sausages (2). You can sear them briefly in a pan or let them heat through directly in the soup.
Puree the soup with a stick blender until it is wonderfully creamy, and stir in the Wiener sausages (2) at the end so they can warm up briefly.
