Ingredients
Preparation
First, finely chop the onion (1), garlic (1), and jalapeño (1) – be sure to remove the jalapeño seeds if you prefer it less spicy.
Heat the olive oil (10 ml) in a pot and brown the ground beef (200 g) until crumbly.
Now add the onion (1), garlic (1), and jalapeño (1) and sauté until translucent.
Stir in the tomato paste (20 g) and let it roast for a moment to develop its full color.
Now deglaze everything with the diced tomatoes (200 g) and the beef stock (50 ml).
Add the kidney beans (150 g), cover the pot, and let your chili simmer gently over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Finally, serve the chili in a nice bowl and add a generous dollop of sour cream (30 g) on top – your homemade Tex-Mex treat is ready!
