Fudgy Chocolate Brownies with Walnuts - Simple & Moist

recipe.header.titleBig

These fudgy chocolate brownies with chopped walnuts are a chocolate lover's dream come true! As a kitchen enthusiast with a soft spot for fine desserts, I can tell you: the combination of an intense, soft center and the crunch of the nuts is simply irresistible. This treat comes from American baking tradition and impresses with its wonderfully chocolaty texture, almost reminiscent of a confection. I always make my brownies with high-quality dark chocolate and no boxed mixes, so you can enjoy the full flavor. The best part? This recipe is so simple that you'll whip up a heavenly dessert or a sweet snack in no time. Grab your bowls, preheat the oven, and let's bake this little delight together. You'll see how easy it is to strike the perfect balance between a crispy edge and a fudgy center. Perfect for sharing – or, of course, keeping all to yourself if you're a sweet tooth like me!

Ingredients

Dark chocolate
100  g
Butter
50  g
Egg
1
Sugar
80  g
Flour
40  g
Walnuts
30  g

Preparation

1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) and grease a small baking pan.

2

Carefully melt the dark chocolate (100 g) together with the butter (50 g) in a bain-marie until a glossy mixture forms.

3

In a separate bowl, beat the egg (1) with the sugar (80 g) until frothy and the mixture becomes light.

4

Stir the melted chocolate-butter mixture (100 g) into the egg cream.

5

Sift in the flour (40 g) and fold briefly into the batter until just combined and no flour pockets remain.

6

Coarsely chop the walnuts (30 g) with a knife and carefully fold them into the chocolate batter.

7

Pour the batter into the pan and bake the brownies for about 20 minutes, until set on top but still wonderfully fudgy inside.
