Norwegian Rakfisk with Flatbread - Traditional & Simple

recipe.header.titleBig

If you love Nordic cuisine, you can't miss a traditional Norwegian Rakfisk. As a little foodie, I'm always looking for special delicacies, and this fermented fish specialty is a true highlight for connoisseurs. In this dish, we serve the savory Rakfisk classically on crispy flatbread, refined with a creamy layer of sour cream and crunchy red onion rings. It is a wonderfully healthy dish that can be prepared in just a few minutes, transporting you straight to the Norwegian fjords. Even if fermenting the fish is a test of patience, the plating for one person is super easy and quick. The combination of the intense flavor of the fish and the freshness of the onions is simply unbeatable. Grab your knife and follow my lead – a little piece of Norway right on your plate! You'll see how easy it is to bring a piece of Scandinavia into your own kitchen, without any unnecessary additives, just pure passion for good ingredients.
