recipe.header.titleBig

Looking for the perfect chicken breast skewers with lemon-thyme marinade that will make your heart and palate sing? As a hobby cook with a keen nose for good flavors, I especially love this dish. The combination of tender poultry, zesty lemon, and the earthy aroma of fresh thyme brings a Mediterranean vacation feeling straight to your kitchen. These skewers are quick to make, wonderfully healthy, and come without any fuss. I only use fresh ingredients because that is the only way to unfold the full flavor that we cats—and of course you two-legged friends—love so much. Whether as a light dinner or a quick snack, this dish is child's play to recreate. Grab your cutting board, clean your paws, and let's create something magical in the kitchen together. You will see how easy it is to bring a restaurant-worthy experience to your plate, without complicated techniques or hidden additives.

Ingredients

Chicken breast fillet
200  g
Lemon
0.5
Olive oil
20  ml
Thyme sprigs
3
Sea salt
2  g
Black pepper
1  g

Preparation

1

Rinse the chicken breast (200 g) briefly under cold water, pat dry, and cut into bite-sized, uniform cubes so they cook evenly later.

2

For the aromatic marinade, squeeze the juice of the lemon (0.5) and mix thoroughly with the olive oil (20 ml) in a small bowl.

3

Pluck the leaves from the thyme sprigs (3), chop them finely, and stir them into the oil along with the sea salt (2 g) and black pepper (1 g).

4

Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, mix everything carefully, and let it marinate briefly while heating your pan to medium heat.

5

Thread the meat onto skewers and fry in the pan on all sides until golden brown and beautifully juicy – meow, that smells wonderful!
