Fresh Summer Wraps with Hummus, Grated Carrots and Pomegranate Seeds - Quick & Healthy

recipe.header.titleBig

These fresh summer wraps with hummus, grated carrots, and pomegranate seeds are my absolute favorite meal when the sun warms through the window and I'm craving something light, crunchy, and incredibly healthy. As a small hobby chef with whiskers, I know: the combination of creamy homemade hummus, the sweetness of the pomegranate seeds, and the spicy crunch of fresh carrots is simply unbeatable. These wraps are perfect for a quick lunch break or a relaxing picnic in the garden. Since I don't tolerate convenience products in my kitchen, I'll show you how to assemble the individual components easily. The result is a colorful, vegan treat that is not only visually stunning but also packed with good vitamins. Grab a bowl, turn on some music, and let's prepare this healthy delight together – it's child's play, I promise! Once you taste the crunch of the carrots meeting the creamy hummus, you'll understand why I'm raving about it. Once tried, these wraps will definitely become a staple in your repertoire for the warm season.

Ingredients

Whole wheat tortilla
1
Hummus
50  g
Carrot
1
Pomegranate seeds
30  g
Fresh spinach
20  g
Lemon juice
5  ml

Preparation

1

Thoroughly wash, peel, and grate the carrot (1) into fine strips so it tastes wonderfully crunchy in the wrap later.

2

Wash the fresh spinach (20 g) and pat it dry carefully so it doesn't make the tortilla soggy.

3

Briefly warm the whole wheat tortilla (1) in a pan without fat so it becomes pliable and doesn't break when rolling – a little professional tip from me!

4

Generously spread the tortilla (1) with hummus (50 g), leaving a small margin at the sides.

5

Distribute the grated carrot (1) evenly over the hummus (50 g) and drizzle with lemon juice (5 ml) for a fresh kick.

6

Now add the spinach (20 g) and the sweet pomegranate seeds (30 g) as a topping.

7

Slightly fold in the sides of the tortilla (1) and roll the wrap tightly so everything stays nicely together.
