Creamy Edamame Dip with Sesame and Lime - Healthy & Fast

A creamy edamame dip with sesame and lime is the perfect healthy snack for in-between or a highlight on any buffet. As your cooking-enthusiast velvet paw Mila, I love this dip because it's not only made in a flash, but also impresses with its vibrant green color and wonderfully nutty flavor. Edamame, these young soybeans, are a true source of protein and can be processed into a velvety cream. The fine acidity of the lime and the roasted aromas of the sesame create an aromatic taste experience that is completely free of processed products. This dish is ideal for anyone looking for a quick, plant-based, and nutritious meal. With this simple recipe, you can conjure up a dip in no time that goes perfectly with crisp raw vegetables as well as freshly toasted bread. Grab your kitchen utensils and definitely try this revitalizing dip – you will love it just as much as I do!
Ingredients
Preparation
Cook the edamame (200 g) in boiling water for about 5 minutes until soft, then rinse briefly with cold water.
Peel the garlic clove (1) and chop it roughly; this is important for an even consistency in the dip.
Now place the cooked edamame (200 g) in a blender together with the lime juice (1 tbsp), sesame oil (1 tbsp), garlic clove (1), and a pinch of sea salt (1 pinch).
Puree everything until a wonderfully creamy consistency is achieved – meow, if it's too thick, just add a tiny splash of water.
Finally, transfer the dip into a small bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds (1 tsp) to perfectly round off the nutty flavor.
