Sourdough Guide - Make the perfect rye sourdough starter in 5 days

recipe.header.titleBig

Making sourdough is, for me as a hobby cook, the greatest adventure in the baking world. With this sourdough guide, I will show you how to create an active, bubbly rye sourdough starter from fresh ingredients in just 5 days. All you need is time and love – without any industrial yeast or ready-made products. A good sourdough is the soul of every loaf of bread and gives you an incomparable aroma. It might seem a little magical at first when the flour and water turn into a living baking ingredient, but don't worry: my simple step-by-step plan makes the process child's play. Whether you are a total beginner or an advanced baker, this starter is guaranteed to succeed. Grab your jar and let's bake together – I promise your homemade bread will taste fantastic thanks to this starter!
